About our services
Our adult nursing services have no specific exclusion criteria, as each referral is assessed on its own merit. However, the referred person must:
- Have a complex mental health problem.
- Have potential to engage in a recovery-focused rehabilitation programme.
- Require 24 hour specialist mental health nursing care.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Be a resident of the service’s local CCG (unless agreed with locality CCG commissioning manager).
As long as these criteria are met, any co-existing issues such as substance misuse or learning disability will not exclude the person from the service.
Through clinical assessment and MDT liaison, a decision is made as to whether our service can meet the person’s identified needs, and whether this level of specialist 24-hour care is required.
Fees and funding
Payment for our services
Our beds can be purchased under a block or spot arrangement. The spot purchase price is slightly higher than the block price, due to an assumption of unfilled capacity. Our prices are fixed, no matter where the resident has come from.
Occassionally, for complex cases, we may discuss supplementary fees.
With our staffing model and team capability, we rarely rely on 1:1 support for individuals. In fact, we regularly care for people who have been on 1:1 or 2:1 care in previous homes, and within a matter of weeks with us, that is no longer necessary.
