What does this mean for our clients?
The only change you will notice is that letterheads, literature, website, and community material will display the VHG logo and the new service name: VitaMinds.
Wherever possible, your care will continue to be delivered by the same therapist that you see now. It may be necessary to rearrange your treatment sessions in the first few days following the transfer, but your therapist will be in touch with you to confirm if this is necessary.
VHG will continue to provide NICE-recommended treatments for anxiety and depression. Currently the service is being delivered remotely due to COVID-19 and this will continue until such times the service can return to normal.
What happens now?
In order for the service to move to VHG and for you to continue to receive treatment, we will transfer your records to VHG using a secure electronic transfer process. The data transferred will be subject to strict data protection regulations, in the same way as it is currently.
If you feel you do not want to transfer to VHG, please let our Calderdale service know by 26th April 2020 and we will not transfer your records. If you miss this date, or you decide after this date that you do not want to continue with VHG, you can let VHG know and they will delete your information.
If you have any queries or concerns, please feel free to contact your therapist or the admin team at Everyturn. You should continue to access the service as normal through Everyturn up until 30 April 2020.
