We have been actively monitoring updates about coronavirus (COVID-19) from the NHS and central Government, to help us to make the best decisions to protect the health and wellbeing of our residents, family carers, and colleagues.

We are taking comprehensive action to prepare for and respond to the growing outbreak. As part of these measures, we have made the decision to limit non-essential visitors to our 24-hour services until further notice.

We have not taken this decision lightly, but we know our visitors, including relatives and loved ones, would want us to do everything possible to keep the people in our care safe and well.

Non-essential visits include routine visits from relatives, loved ones, professionals, and contractors carrying out non-essential services.

Under exceptional circumstances, essential visits can be arranged by contacting the Service Manager or Clinical Lead. You can also contact the Service Manager or Clinical Lead if you have any questions about the care of your relative or loved one.

We recognise that this is an unprecedented and unique situation and we appreciate your flexibility and support. Please note that the situation is constantly evolving, so our advice will be reviewed on a regular basis and may change in line with Government recommendations and other developments.
