24-hour dementia nursing care

Our main focus at Pinetree Lodge, a specialist dementia nursing home commissioned by the NHS, is to provide person-centred care that focuses on genuinely understanding each person’s needs so we can improve their wellbeing.

With a dedicated team of highly qualified nursing staff available round the clock, alongside experienced support workers, we make sure that our residents receive the specialised care they need.

Our care home

Pinetree Lodge is well-equipped to meet the healthcare needs of our residents. We also work hard to keep things as homely and relaxed as possible.

Families and the people we care for are encouraged to bring in furnishings, pictures, and ornaments for their bedrooms to make it their own.

We are careful in how we furnish and decorate Pinetree Lodge, so that it is both safe and easy to find your way around in. It’s very important to help people stay active and independent as much as possible, while also supporting complex needs.

The home has a number of separate lounge and dining areas, fully-assisted baths, and wet rooms.

We also have an enclosed dementia-friendly garden space, because we know that access to the outdoors is important for all of us. Getting the sun on your back and some fresh air in your lungs can do wonders for your wellbeing, whether you have dementia or not. Our facilities help with reducing stress, improving social connection and gaining a sense of purpose and accomplishment- all of which are important in supporting people with dementia.
